For much more reels by Abu Garcia and other reel manufactures visit PoorFish In the open air your provider of affordable Outdoor Shoe since 1995. Since after that, I saw it been an Abu Garcia Revo Reels fan. Unfortunately the main I had is currently with my dad, and I recently can't fly over to his place just to get it, plus it would also take period for him to send it in my opinion. Therefore, I transpired to the local mall and sought for myself personally another Abu Garcia Revo reel. Abu Garcia Revo has released two world-known baitcast reels, your Abu Garcia Revo SX and also the Abu Garcia Revo Toro. I got torn in between. The main I previously owned had been the Abu Garcia Revo SX. To make it simple here are the reasons why I liked the Abu Garcia Revo SX: • It's made of aluminum alloy that makes it corrosion resistant. • It was eventually more durable and lighter compared to the reels made of usual aluminum. • It had an Infini II spool which often allowed me smooth casting and telephone long distance. • 10 tennis ball bearings• That had a Carbon Matrix Drag System making the drag ultra smooth• There was clearly no problems with their Linear Magnetic Brake Process. • It had a compressed bent handle and star that makes it easy to handle plus, I am left handed and the model I acquired was for left person people! The Revo Toro has a 7 HPCR corrosion resistant bearings a one step improvement of my previous reel. The result? Much more accurate casts, and years of hassle free service.
Abu Garcia Revo MGX???????
I'm thinking about buying one of these. Anyone use one? What are your thoughts? Is it safe for saltwater use?

DO NOT USE THE MGX IN SALTWATER! The magnesium frame will corrode in less than a day, even with sufficient rinsing. Just don't do it.
Magnesium frame + saltwater = no bueno
Anyway, I am not a fan of the Ambassadeur REVOlution. I have not seen one in person. I think, IF this particular Ambassadeur is actually made and not engineered in Sweden, then... the Japs are in for a hell of a surprise. In other words, if I personally wanted a REVO, then this sumbitch would be it. It would be hard to put down my Steez, Calais, and Chronarchs.
EDIT:
A $50 Black Max DOES NOT even compare to the MGX.
